After receiving countless inquiries and conducting a poll among our followers, it was clear there was an overwhelming interest in this graceful breed. We listened—and we’re proud to announce that our Russian Blue foundation cats will be arriving in early 2026.
Legend has it Russian Blues were once cherished by Russian Czars and European royalty, adding a touch of regal charm to their mystique.
Why We Chose the Russian Blue
Striking beauty: Russian Blues are known for their luxurious, shimmering blue-gray coats and vivid green eyes.
Unique texture: Their plush double coat has a soft, insulating undercoat and a sleek outer coat tipped with silver, giving them a luminous sheen.
Affectionate yet reserved: These cats are sweet-natured, quiet, and form deep bonds with their humans.
Highly intelligent: Russian Blues are quick learners and curious companions who thrive in loving environments.
Family-friendly: With their calm nature, they typically do well with older children and respectful pets.
Naturally healthy: As a naturally occurring breed, they have few known genetic issues and often enjoy long, healthy lives.
Potentially hypoallergenic: While not completely allergen-free, they are known to produce fewer allergens than many other breeds—great news for mild allergy sufferers!
Low maintenance: Their short coat requires minimal grooming.
All of our cats are DNA-screened through Wisdom Panel by Optimal Selection, and are tested negative for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Erythrocyte Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)
