About Maine Coons

The Maine Coon had always been a dream breed for us. When we finally decided to bring one into our home, we imported from Europe and were deeply inspired by the breeder we worked with. That inspiration led to the founding of Myztic KittyZ (formerly Myztic Coons) — and we’ve never looked back. Their dog-like personalities, calm temperament, and high intelligence make them amazing companions.

Why We Chose European Maine Coons

We are passionate about European Maine Coons because of their distinct wild, regal appearance and strong build. Compared to American lines, the European Maine Coons feature:

Strong bone structure and long, muscular bodies (hence the nickname “limousine cats”)
Tall, lynx-like ears with prominent tufts
High cheekbones and a bold, square muzzle
Thick, luxurious coats and extra-long, bushy tails
Almond-shaped eyes that reveal an exotic, almost mystical expression

Our Foundation Lines

We are truly blessed to have found our foundation Sire and Queen from a highly reputable European cattery, committed to ethical breeding practices, health, and genetics.

Our Sire is a striking polydactyl (6/6/6/6) silver-white Maine Coon. Our Queen is a beautiful multicolor tortoiseshell Maine Coon.

Both are now retired, and we’re currently seeking another exceptional sire. Their daughter, Venus Baby D, is poised to carry on their legacy as our next Queen

All of our cats are DNA-screened through Wisdom Panel by Optimal Selection, and are tested negative for:

Hip Dysplasia
Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)
Erythrocyte Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef)

About the Breed: Gentle Giants

The Maine Coon is one of the oldest natural breeds in North America, and the official state cat of Maine. They are known for their massive size — up to 40 inches in length, with females weighing 12–15 lbs and males reaching 18–25 lbs. Despite their size, they are known as gentle giants, with dog-like loyalty and calm, social natures.

European Maine Coons in particular have a more wild, exotic appearance and are prized for their distinct features and strong lineage.
